CASE STUDY 

Converting Coolangatta Beach on Queensland’s Gold Coast into a world-class live performance venue required world-class temporary event equipment, infrastructure and support services. The exposed beach environment placed extreme demands on equipment; particularly the electrical system which was submerged in sand and exposed to the elements.

Power for the remote location was supplied by a bank of silenced, skid-mounted generators ranging from 10kVA to 150kVA connected with 500 Amp Powersafe generator connectors. With an IP67 rating and rugged construction, Phase 3 Powersafe connectors excel in harsh conditions and were selected to provide uninterrupted power throughout show run.
