MIL-DTL-38999

MIL-DTL-38999 connectors are designed and manufactured to an extremely high standard to achieve excellent performance in very demanding situations. They feature high contact density to minimise the space and weight required, while offering robust and durable protection for inserts providing good current and voltages capacity. This series is environmentally sealed and utilises insertable/extractable crimp contacts.

• Bayonet coupling system
• Very high specification compact versatile connectors for harsh environments
• 1 to 128 rear release crimp snap-in contacts - sizes 12 to 22D to accept wires 12 to 28 AWG
• 5 to 32 Amps
• Environmentally sealed
• Corrosion-resistant shells of plated aluminium alloy, steel or stainless steel which are available in a variety of finishes
• -65 degrees Celsius to + 200 degrees Celsius (depending on finish selected)
• Scoop proof
• 500 mating cycles standard but 1500 cycles option available
• Accepts a variety of MIL-DTL-85049 backshells (ordered separately)

• Light weight / low profile
• Bayonet coupling system

• 3 to 128 rear release crimp snap-in contacts - sizes 12 to 22D to accept wires 12 to 28 AWG

• Corrosion-resistant shells of plated aluminium alloy, steel or stainless steel which are available in a variety of finishes
• -65 degrees Celsius to + 200 degrees Celsius (depending on finish selected)
• 250 mating cycles
• Accepts a variety of Mil-C-85049 backshells which are ordered separately
